The project would overhaul traditional system of street lightning in a big way by adopting smart IT enabled street lighting system. Following would be the main features:Intelligent IT innovations to transportation, civic utilities, public safety without adding significantly more physical infrastructure.Real-time data communications with low latency to improve safety and security Installing smart LED street lights with functional features like: Remote dimming control, Remote On-Off option , Timer ,GPSM a presentation Reduce carbon footprint Improve overall safety and security Promote digitization in a big way
ABD Area Pilot Smart Road PROJECT
FUNDING : SMART CITY FUND | PROJECT COST : INR 18.48 CR.
The pilot Smart Road stretch is from Trimbak Naka to Ashok Stambh, measuring about 1.1km. This project is about transforming chaotic road image to a smart road. Proposed features of the smart road are uniform standard carriage way width from one junction to another, properly designed footpaths, bicycle lane, road intersection development, infrastructure utility ducts below footpaths, road marking, proper storm water drainage and landscaping to increase overall aesthetics of the road. Improve Street aesthetics, Dedicated space for pedestrians and cyclists Giant leap toward infrastructure of ‘tomorrow’ Smart street furniture including proper road sign age Ducts for utilities, landscaping, etc.
Redevelopment of Major and Minor Roads in ABD Area
FUNDING : SMART CITY FUND | PROJECT COST : INR 237.20 CR.
With the continuous development of cities, the urban roads built in the early days had to be redone to meet the needs of modern urban transportation. Thus, as part of redevelopment process, the reconstruction of old roads was the key construction content. This project redefines urban infrastructure with the construction of concrete and bitumen roads, advanced storm water drainage and extensive utility upgrades. The scope includes dismantling existing roads to facility the laying of undergrounds ducts for high tension (HT) and Low tension (LT) electrical lines,OFC cables, water supply pipelines and sewerage systems. Additionally, the project encompasses street landscaping street furniture installation and overall improvement for better urban mobility.
Collector Entrance Gate Project
FUNDING : SMART CITY FUND | PROJECT COST : INR 0.70 CR.
The Collector office in Nashik is a 150 years old stone masonry structure displaying architectural aesthetic and engineering masterpiece. This project involves the construction of Entrance Gate of the collector office, Nashik while maintaining the heritage and architectural continuity and aesthetic appeal.
Disaster/ Emergency Operation Centre Project
FUNDING : SMART CITY FUND | PROJECT COST : INR 71 CR.
Emergency Operation Centre : Crisis, Weather man-made or natural , can occur anytime , making disaster preparedness essential Nashik city located by the Godavari river has experienced flooding, highlighting the need for “Emergency Operation Centre (EOC)” to manage disaster risks. Nashik Smart City has addressed this by setting up a dedicated state-of-the-art Emergency Response Center that serves as control room for managing disaster risks. 24*7 Monitoring and Response EOC that will operate round the clock, coordinating resources from agencies like fire, police, transport and hospitals to minimize harm and ensure swift recovery.
Transformation of Municipal School to Smart School Project
FUNDING : SMART CITY FUND | PROJECT COST : INR 67.58 CR.
Nashik Smart School Project: Nashik a city known for its ancient temples has another feather in its cap now. Nashik Smart City has successfully implemented the smart school concept into reality by transforming almost 88 Municipal Schools, 687 classroom , 88 Headmaster Rooms and 71 Computer Labs into Smart Schools. Each Classroom is provided with 75’’ smart digital touch screens with built in cameras & projection that helps video conferencing and CCTV cameras.
De-Silting Project
FUNDING : SMART CITY FUND | PROJECT COST : INR 9.61 CR.
This De-Silting project forms an integral part of the riverfront development initiative. The project included cleaning and rejuvenation of Godavari river. This project has helped in increasing the rivers depth and in turn has helped in enhancing the water storage capacity.
