With rapid urbanization and change in lifestyle, the amount of municipal solid waste has been increasing and Nashik city is no exception. To tackle the solid waste management issue, the project for Nashik City was implemented under PPP mode. Main objectives behind the project are effective and efficient solid waste collection and transportation, waste reduction, segregation and proper disposal of waste for making the city clean and smart. Renovation of Mahakavi Kalidas Kala Mandir

The project involved repair and replacement of damaged structural elements such as roof, walls,ceiling, seating arrangement, sound system , light system and Hvac. The project also involve upgrading of fore safety system including smoke detectors, sprinklers and alarms. The sound System consisted of advanced acoustic treatments to improve the HD sound quality . The stage and audience area lighting system are implemented as per modern standards

GODAVARI RIVERFRONT DEVELOPMENT INCLUDING BEAUTIFICATION

This is a marquee project under the Nashik Smart city initiative. The master planning of the area provides an excellent opportunity for rejuvenation of the area and its picturesque backdrop with Godavari river front. Aim is to promote heritage and cultural tourism, which is turn is expected to boost local economy. This project was mainly focused on segregation of storm water drain and sewerage line by redirection of nalas into the sewerage system ensuring that it does not get mixed/immersed with Godavari river.

CONSTRUCTION OF ELECTRIC CREMATORIUM

The Construction of the crematorium was intended to reduce pollution, which is caused due to burning of wood. It is the environment friendly way for cremation of deceased person.

INSTALLATION OF SOLAR PANELS ON ROOFTOPS OF GOVERNMENT BUILDING
FUNDING : PPP | PROJECT COST : INR 4.74 CR.
Under this project, solar panel would be installed on the rooftop of 16 government building. Scope of work included preparation of Green & Blue Environment plan, reduction in conventional energy demand by resorting to renewable energy source like Solar Panel Installation. Further, the capacity of project is envisaged to be 1 MW and once fully operational it will benefit NMC by resulting in saving approximately INR 1 Crore every year
